Friday, April 4, 2014, Easton, MD—Delmarva Foundation, an Easton-based quality improvement company, is supporting the Mental Health Association of Talbot County (MHATC) as the Presenting Sponsor for the Chesapeake Vintage Marketplace. MHATC’s largest fundraiser of the year, the event will take place April 11–13 at the Elks Lodge #1622 in Easton. The Chesapeake Vintage Marketplace replaces the former Antiques Show, and will feature dealers from around the Mid-Atlantic offering jewelry, home accessories, and vintage collectibles. “We are truly grateful to Delmarva Foundation for stepping up to assist us with our fundraising efforts. Having lost our presenting sponsor just 30 days prior to the event, we were struggling,” states Jackie Davis, Executive Director for MHATC. “With their support, we will be able to meet our fundraising goals and continue to provide much-needed mental health programs to our community.”

Delmarva Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in Easton more than 40 years ago to improve healthcare quality. It is a subsidiary of Quality Health Strategies which is dedicated to creating solutions to transform health through the work of Delmarva Foundation, the Population Health Center, and Health Integrity. Delmarva Foundation partners with public and private agencies to develop strategies to achieve the Triple Aim of decreasing costs, increasing quality, and improving patient experience. “The MHATC mission is a critical one in our community, as it is in so many communities across the country,” said Fredia Wadley, MD, CEO of Quality Health Strategies, parent company of Delmarva Foundation. “We are happy to provide this support and look forward to a successful event.”

The weekend event kicks off with a fun preview party on Friday, April 11 from 6-8 pm. Tickets are $75 per person and include a wonderful array of passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations; vintage music; and more. Party goers also have the opportunity to purchase items from the dealers in advance of the show. The show opens to the public on Saturday 10 am–5 pm, with hours 11 am–4 pm on Sunday. Weekend admission is only $10 per person and kids under 12 are free.
